Before dispatch: review your DSPR product photos

Use your agreed drawing and item list to review the finished-product photos or video DSPR sends before dispatch. Identify missing views, visual differences and package questions clearly.

Ask about my pre-dispatch review
Actual Coastal Explorer SUP underside reference photo showing two viewing windows and the fin box
Existing Coastal Explorer product reference photo, underside view. It illustrates why deck, underside and close-up views answer different questions; it is not a record of your individual order.

At a glance

  • Compare the finished product with one agreed drawing revision, specification and item list.

  • Ask for another view or a specific measurement when the photos leave a detail unclear.

  • Send DSPR exact image references and questions; the enquiry form does not approve a design or authorise dispatch.

Put the agreed design beside the finished-product media

Before dispatch, compare the photos or video DSPR proactively sends with the agreed design revision, specification and included-item list. Begin with the product identity: model, quantity and your quote or order reference. For several customised units, ask how each shown product corresponds to the agreed design. A public catalogue photo helps explain a question, but it is not a record of your individual order. Keep the original files and identify the exact image or video timestamp when asking DSPR to clarify a detail.

Review graphics from more than one view

Check logo spelling, orientation and placement against the agreed drawing, then compare the main colour areas and pad outline. On a SUP, deck, underside and rails reveal different details; the underside reference photo here cannot confirm the artwork on the deck. For a canopy platform, ask for a view of a graphic that is hidden behind a support or counter. If lighting or reflections make a colour unclear, ask DSPR for another view or clarification against the agreed colour reference rather than judging a small difference from one screen image.

Ask for measurements where perspective is not enough

Use the specification to identify the dimensions that need confirming. A photograph without a suitable measurement reference does not establish the exact length, width, thickness or canopy height. Ask DSPR to show or confirm the particular measurement and its units if it remains unclear. For layout questions, name the two points concerned: for example, table-to-opening clearance or a fitting’s position relative to the pad. Keep these questions tied to the approved configuration; a standard model’s dimensions are not evidence for a custom size.

Match fittings and accessories to the item list

Check visible handles, attachment points, valve positions, fin box and requested fittings against the agreed layout. For the pedal fishing SUP, use its own seat, drive, steering and accessory list; for platforms, check the agreed counter or seating arrangement and model-specific package. If accessories are not visible in the assembled-product photo, ask for a separate view or written confirmation of the included items and quantities. Blue Haven’s stated electric pump and repair kit do not define Blue Cove’s package. A fin box visible in a photo does not alone confirm the separate fin is included in the shipment.

Send one precise list of open questions

For each unresolved point, identify the file or timestamp, describe what you see, quote the relevant agreed detail and ask one clear question. For example: “In photo 3 I cannot see the rear attachment point marked on drawing revision B; please show that area.” Distinguish an unclear view from an actual difference. Do not diagnose construction, inflation performance or carrying capacity from appearance alone. Product photos and ordinary footage help review visible configuration; they do not replace specifications, operating instructions or any testing documentation applicable to the product.

Ask DSPR to clarify the review and dispatch details

Send DSPR your product and quote or order reference, the image or timestamp, the agreed detail and your open questions using the enquiry checklist, email or WhatsApp. Use a single consolidated list so the reply can address each point. Ask for the updated configuration or item list in writing if a change is agreed, and confirm any remaining delivery questions separately. Sending this form does not approve a design, authorise dispatch, place an order or take payment. Keep the agreed documents and DSPR’s replies with the original finished-product media for later reference.
